Nokia C3 review

HTC Droid Incredible unleashes on 29 April

The HTC Droid Incredible will be launched in India on 29 April 2010 as announced last week. The phone has been renamed as Droid Incredible by Verizon. It is likely to be very competitively priced in the Indian markets though no word has been given uttered about it.



The Droid Incredible has a 3.7-inches WVGA touch display with a virtual keyboard and is the first wireless mobile phone to support Qualcomm's 1GHz Snapdragon processor operating on the Android 2.1 operating system and it is the first available phone from the company to include an 8 MP camera and memory of 8GB.

It has Wi-Fi support and a large number of applications customized like one touch Facebook. You can also install some good apps on this mobile viz. photo editing software.

What makes it extremely user-friendly is its optical joystick for smooth navigation, touch-sensitive Home, Menu, Back and Search keys. Proximity sensor, light sensor and digital compass and integrated GPS are the added values in HTC Droid Incredible.

Upcoming Nokia smartphones in India - Nokia C6, Nokia C3 and Nokia E5

Nokia three economical Smartphones next in India Nokia C3, Nokia E5 and Nokia C6 to grab the maximum market share amidst so many new mobile brands.

Nokia C6 going to launch in India by the end of 2010. Nokia C6 is armed with 3.2” screen, HD Display besides a QWERTY keypad and it makes it a very good phone with respect to messaging and social communication.Its 5 megapixel camera features autofocus and flash. This Symbian S60 5th edition handset is supported on quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and quad band 3G with HSDPA.

It has WiFi connectivity and support for up to 8GB memory card, allowing users to update their status and share pictures on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. It runs on Symbian Series 40.





The Nokia E5 sports a 5 megapixel fixed-focus camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity as well as GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB port. A microSD card slot completes the list of noteworthy features.It has quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band 3G/HSDPA support and runs on the non-touch Symbian 3rd edition OS.





Despite evident competition from companies like Blackberry and iPhone, Nokia's market share in sale of smartphones kept growing and grew from 35 per cent to 40 per cent in the last year.

Acer neotouch P300 - an upcoming Acer smartphone

Acer announced and brought ahead its new neoTouchE110 smartphone, an Android OS, v2.1 device as a new entrant of its neoTouch family of smartphones.

Acer beTouch E110 measures 115 x 59.3 x 12 mm and weighs 125g and offers a 3.2-inches TFT touchscreen resistive display that features a 320 x 480 pixel resolution with 256k colors. It comes in Soft-touch Black, Ceramic White and Pearl colours.



The Acer smartphone houses exclusive spinlets applications that provides free streaming of worldwide music and video, that can be shared with friends and family via the web or e-mail.Crystal clear pictures and videos can be captured via a 3.15 megapixel digital camera. The handset can easily boast of Radio FM and a Li-Po 970 mAh battery.

The 3G enabled phone, Acer neoTouch P300 has 3G in configuration of HSDPA at 7.2 Mbps besides Wi Fi connectivity option. Its Java features Social networking integration, Pocket Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, PDF viewer), Voice memo, etc.

The Acer neoTouch P300 price is not yet revealed by the company.

Acer beTouchE110 smartphone in India

Acer announced and brought ahead its new beTouchE110 smartphone, an Android powered device as a new entrant of its beTouch family of smartphones.

Acer beTouch E110 measures 103.5mm x 54mm x 13.4mm and offers a 2.8-inch QVGA resistive touch screen display with 5-navi key. It's available in black and dark blue and is powered by Android 1.5, an aging version of the operating system. Its new user interface as well as a customizable 5-page home screen can gain easy access to all their important applications, web contents and favorite multimedia.



The Acer smartphone houses Acer UrFooz, Nemo player and Twidroid apps. The exclusive Spinlets apps allows you to stream music and video worldwide, which can be shared via Web or email. Crystal clear pictures and videos can be captured via a 3.0 megapixel digital camera. The handset can easily boast of Radio FM and a 1500 mAh battery.It lacks only a Wi Fi connectivity option.

The Acer beTouch E110 price are not yet revealed by the company.

Garmin Nuvifone G60 Smartphone

There's isn't much to Gramin Nuvifone's design, as it doesn't have many physical keys. It has a TFT touch-screen of 3.55 inch that offers 272 x 480 pixel resolution clarity, well curved corners and bright black colour body.The display has a built-in accelerometer but unfortunately, it's very temperamental. But it's a bit bulky and not the most pocket-friendly device. Yet, the phone has a very solid construction and looks like it could survive a fall and rough handling.

Nuvifone G60 high class camera of 3.15 mega-pixel captures the snap in the resolution of 2048x1536 pixels.It delivers a crystal quality music also.



Garmin Nuvifone G60 comes with preloaded maps and voice-guided directions right out of the box, so there's no need to add a location-based service subscription which makes it a good navigator phone.

HTC Snap to hit Indian Smartphone market

This device called as HTC snap will be hardly 12 mm that makes it a sleekest smartphone to hit the over-crowded Indian smartphone market , yet it includes a full keyboard with domed keys, 2.4-inch QVGA display, and a nice trackball.

At the top of it is its Inner Circle, which quickly hides your less important emails, and shows the most important ones on priority.

It will run on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard operating system powered on a 528 MHz processor, and have 192 MB of RAM and micro SD card.



The HTC Snap will also have high-speed 3G HSPA connectivity,Wi-Fi,Bluetooth and A-GPS support. Its camera is average as it is only a 2MP camera.

HTC ensures up to eight and a half hours of talk time with the standard 1500 mAh battery.

Garmin-Asus Nuvifone M10 smartphone

The quad-band, HSDPA-capable, Garmin-Asus Nuvifone M10 smartphone features 3.5-inch WVGA touch screen, 4GB of Flash memory (512MB RAM/512MB ROM) and Wi-Fi.

Garmin-Asus Nuvifone M10 will be powered by a capable Qualcomm 7227 600MHz processor and run on Windows Mobile 6.5.3 operating system that makes it quite capable when viewing office documents and handling social networks. Apps are such that allows for multi-tasking.



One is 3D Task Manager that will allow you to switch between running applications and other is, Billboard which will display user's most important information at a glance.

The M10 has many GPS features and the navigation functions available in Hindi and English are integrated into every frequently used applications such as calendar, contacts, email, internet browser, and messaging apps.

You'll also be able to geotag any pictures taken from your 5-megapixel camera and share them via Facebook or Picasa.

Initially, it is expected to be present in metro cities of India and at a reasonable price for this segment Rs.19,900.Henceforth, it is one of its kind and uniquely good fit for Indian scenario!!!
