Vodaphone has announced the launch of three new varied smartphone
handsets in the Indian handset market. The variety offered is very cool and it comprises of Vodaphone Android v2.1 Eclair packed Vodafone 945, QWERTY keypad packed Vodaphone 553 slider and a refreshed version Vodaphone 543 Miss Sixty. Vodafone 945 sports a wide and large. 2-inch WQVGA capacitive touch display, quite an improvement over Vodaphone 845. Its 5 megapixel camera with LED flash is not the only interesting feature. It also enjoys 3G capabilities with HSDPA support, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.
Its microSD card slot can expand its internal 300MB storage. Vodafone 553 has a 2.8-inch resistive touchscreen. Its 2 megapixel camera is quite satisfactory.
The connectivity is taken care of by Bluetooth for local data transfer and Opera Mini5 allows Net surfing. 553 features touch-based proprietary software packing Vodafone 360 People also.
