In the recent past HTC has made an announcement to launch two WP7 mango OS phone in the Indian cellular market codenamed as HTC Radar and HTC Titan. HTC has paid attention to offer the pleasant experience with its Windows Phone by optimizing the existing applications and launching the new services. Talking about the price the company has not yet disclosed the HTC Titan price in India. But it is expected that company will tag both the new smartphones very competitive and affordable.
The new HTC Titan specifications suggest that the new phone will come with 4.7 inch S-LCD capacitive touchscreen which has a display resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The display screen adorns with an Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and Proximity sensor for auto turn-off which features Multi-touch input method. As for new HTC Titan features, the new HTC Titan operates on Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Mango Operating System which works on 1.5 GHz Scorpion processor. Along with this the phone also supports a Qualcomm MSM8255 chipset which make to fall it in the high featured phone segment. The new HTC Titan runs on both 2G and 3G network. On the network of 2G it operates on GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 set of frequencies where as on the network of 3G it runs on HSDPA 850 / 900 / 2100 set of frequencies.
As far as dimensions are concerned the new windows phone measures 131.5 x 70.7 x 9.9 mm and has a weight of 160 grams. A 8 Mega Pixel camera with the resolution power of 3264 x 2448 pixels which has the features of autofocus and LED flash is come fixed at the rear side of the phone. With the use of this high featured camera one can capture high quality image and take high quality video recording. A secondary camera of 1.3 Mega pixel is also attached with which one can perform video calling. Talking about its memory the new HTC Titan features a 16 GB Internal storage with 512 MB RAM. Though the Internal memory of the phone is very large like other HTC mobiles but it does not supports any card slot for external expandable memory which could be the one of its major drawback.
