Today, Vodafone has launched its new Facebook phone in India named as Vodafone 555 Blue in the Indian market. The new Vodafone 555 Blue is also known as Facebook phone. The phone is manufactured by TCL mainly targeting the Facebook addicted users as this phone features with the phone’s address book, messages and a home screen widget which is updated constantly. The new Vodafone 555 price in India is Rs 4950. It seems that with this phone Vodafone mobiles will make HTC Chacha a good run for money.
The new Vodafone 555 specifications reveal that the new phone has a measurement of 110 x 61.1 x 12 mm. The new Facebook phone offers a 2.4″ QVGA display with the display resolution of 320 × 240 pixels. Its worth to mention that the screen of this phone is not a touch screen but it holds out a full QWERTY keypad with a dedicated Facebook key.
The new Vodafone 555 features include Bluetooth 2.1, GPRS & EDGE as various connectivity options for transferring data on the network. Although this new phone by Vodafone includes the unique feature of Facebook but the other features of the phone are very basic. Under the hood, the new Facebook phone come fixed with a low powered camera which is of 2 Mega Pixels with LED flash. Talking about the memory it has only 40 MB as Internal memory which is very low but it supports a card slot for micro SD memory card up to 16 GB as an expendable memory which could give some relief. A standard Li-Ion 1000 mAh battery comes powered in this new Vodafone 555, which has battery back up of 324 h in stand by mode and up to 3 h in talk time mode. With this phone Vodafone is targeting the mammoth users of Facebook in India.
