The United States are now home of more minorities than probably any other country in the world and the reason they got as far as they did, without internal struggles is that they paid respect to the individual's needs. Instead of aiming for uniformity, they chose unity through diversity, and the Native American Indians are a shining example of how a minority can be integrated without losing its identity. It would have been quite a loss for all mankind if their unique traditions and culture would have vanished for good.

While they have complete freedom to enjoy and practice their traditions, music, arts and rituals, the Native American Indians are given the equal opportunity when it comes to education. Granted they have wise people in their community. It is not enough to make it in the ever-changing society we are living in. Adequate education that is taught in schools, high schools and colleges are very important and in its absence, many opportunities will be missed forever, which is a grim scenario.

Native American Indians are excellent students, but sometimes they will need a financial aid to sign up for college and pursue a diploma. Higher education is a goal for most young people, buy in this financial climate it is increasingly difficult for teenagers to pay for tuition. There are special colleges for Native American Indians and special grants for the members of this minority, but this doesn't mean that they are denied access in any other institution.
