Nokia N97--Lappy-like

The Nokia N97 will be powered by Symbian S60 5th edition (S60v5), a new touch-enabled version of the operating system this company puts on its high-end models. It will be based on a 434 MHz processor and 128 MB of RAM.The 1500 mAh battery will be good for up to 9.5 hours of talk time or 4.5 hours of video playback.

This device is going to include a 3.5-inch, 640-by-360-pixel display that can be moved aside to revel its landscape-oriented keyboard. This will cause the screen to pivot up, making this phone look a bit like a small laptop.

The N97 will have no less than 32 GB of built-in storage. It will be supplemented by up to 16 GB more on a micro SD card.

Versions for Europe and N. America will have quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), and 3G (3.6 Mbps HSDPA) in frequencies appropriate for the region of release. In Europe, it will have 900/1900/2100 MHz, and in N. America it will have 850/1900/2100 MHz. Both versions will also have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR.

Other Features

It has a 5.0 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Dual-LED flash. This will be capable of recording still images and video at 640 by 480 pixels and 30 fps. It will come with a number of built-in sensors: a GPS receiver, an accelerometer, digital compass, and ambient light sernsor.

Stereo and TV-Out will be handled by a 3.5 mm jack, and dual stereo speakers will also appear.

This model's web browser is going to be based on the Web Kit rendering engine and include Flash Lite 3.0.

Full support for the Nokia Music Store, N-Gage, Nokia Maps, and Nokia Messaging will be included.

The N97 is scheduled to debut in Europe in June, 2009 and in other parts of the world i.e. Nokia in India thereafter.

In Europe, pricing will depend on the carrier offering it. In the U.S., this model is likely to be available either directly from Nokia or from retailers, not through a wireless carrier. As an unlocked GSM device, it will be usable with AT&T, T-Mobile, and others.

The Price Of Nokia N97 is €550 or $690.

Nokia E75 arrives in India


Nokia mobileswill be launching the Nokia E75 is the second week of April in India. E75 is a killer E Series phone from Nokia with an easy to use E Mail application and a rocking QWERTY keyboard.It will be available at an MRP of Rs 26,299 in two colours, silver black and red.The phone has captured the North American and European markets.



Phone features includes,a 3.2 mega pixel camera with auto focus, LED flash and digital zoom, as well as a video recorder with Hi-resolution VGA and video streaming.

The phone is also enabled with music player supporting formats like MP3, AAC, FM radio, Nokia podcast and windows media player. The player is also compatible with polyphonic, MP3, video and talking ringtones.

Dual mode that lets you change between personal and work emails, and a choice to have two home screens viz. for business and for pleasure. Web browsing is excellent using WI FI and GPRS along with other wireless services like Bluetooth and 3G. Office document viewer which allows you to view or send work documents instantly. Dedicated email keys to send messages in formats like SMS, MMS, Email, IM and text-to-speech are also there.

Need not mention that the Nokia E75 also incorporates Ovi services, AGPS and Nokia Maps and Nokia’s games service N-Gage.
