HTC Wildfire to launch in Q3 of 2010

The HTC Wildfire is a much awaited phone. It comes with a 3.2-inch QVGA touchscreen display and is one of those few phones which runs on Android 2.1 OS, latest version of HTC Sense UI. It holds similarity with HTC Tattoo in size and HTC Desire in some features.

The smartphone comes equipped with a 5 MP camera autofocus camera with LED flash, Active Sync function for syncing personal emails and HSDPA for high-speed web browsing.The HTC Wildfire smartphone is targeted at youth with its awesome social networking features. Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini & Vivaz Pro coming soon in India

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini and Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro are the two latest upcoming smartphones soon to be unleashed by the company in Indian mobile phone market. The former, that is Xperia X10 Mini is an expensive mobile handset with all the tempting features expected in a contemporary smartphone.Similar, are the expectations from the latter, that is Vivaz Pro.

Xperia X10 Mini has a 2.5” TFT capacitive touchscreen and is light weight at 88gms. It looks chic and is performance-driven.The device is well equipped with Stereo FM radio, Mp3 player as well as a Mp4 player for a great music experience.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini has a 5MP camera embedded in it with the autofocus, LED flash and Geo - tagging. Its phonebook memory and internal memory are vast and can accomodate practically unlimited entries and Photocall. 128 MB storage can be extended to 16GB, 2GB included via microSD card slot.

Its design is appealing but at 117gm it is a bit heavy.This scratch-resistant gadget comes in contrasting black and white colors. All the essential features in context of music are laid out in it, like the FM, MP3 and MP4 player and that too with 3.5mm audio jack.

The device has an internal memory of 75 MB storage and the card slot is microSD (TransFlash) up to 16GB, 8GB included. It gives superb stand by performance for upto 430h on 2G and up to 440h on 3G network. The Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro has wireless connectivity in form of bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, GPRS, 2.0 microUSB, Wi- and the 3G. The Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro supports SMS, MMS and Email. The Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro in built browser is WAP 2.0 / xHTML. The java enables applications such as gesture control, Google maps, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Picasa integration.


Overall, both the smartphones are smart and chic. They are good value for money and would not let you down.The price will soon be out for the Indian market.

Sony Ericsson Aspen - first Windows Mobile 6.5.3 smart phone

The latest Sony Ericsson Aspen, "Faith ", is a business-focused QWERTY keypad candy bar phone with green credentials. It is wrapped in Windows Mobile 6.5.3, the iterative finger-friendly Windows Mobile.

Its features that are praiseworthy and makes it stand out of crowd in smart phones segment are its 2.4-inch QVGA TFT touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera (fixed-focus), A-GPS with Google Maps, 3.5-mm audio jack, WiFi. The handset allows multi-tasking, organising and adapting of panels and slide view for quick access to common features.A 4GB microSD memory card is also included in the phone.

It comes in black or white silver and is supported on quad-band GSM/EDGE with either 3G HSPA 900/2100 or 2G 850/900/2100 Mhz.

Sony Ericsson Aspen will be available in White Siver and dashing Black color, most probably from Q2 of 2010.

Nokia X2 is the cheapest Nokia smartphone

The Nokia X2 is the cheapest Nokia smartphone being priced at a price tag of Rs.5000 only. It is announced by Nokia that the alphanumeric keypad containing Nokia X2 will be available in the Indian mobile phone market by June end.

The slim candy bar shaped handset is meant to make the youth elated as it is a good music phone. It is loaded with dedicated music keys, dual stereo speakers, playback FM Radio and access to Nokia Ovi store for downloading audio tracks.

There is no need of plugging in headsets for listening to FM which makes it very convenient. The handset is stylish and good looking with its high gloss finish and curved back and two color schemes- Black and Red or Silver and Blue. The 2.2 inch 65K color display is vibrant and the screen is even visible in bright daylight.

The phone also has an excellent 5 MP camera to click quality photographs. Its LED flash enables clicking pictures in no or less light. It has an internal memory of 48 MB, expandable to microSD card upto 16GB. The card slot is hot swappable, meaning the users would not have to turn the phone off and access its battery to insert the card. The phone will give great web browsing facility owing to its preloaded Opera Mini browser.
