Nokia X5-01 square QWERTY slider smartphone to launch in 2010

Nokia is all set to present in Indian handset market, its unusually shaped Nokia X5-01 by 2011. This square shape slider comes with a full QWERTY keyboard and runs on Symbian S60 3rd edition.It sports a 2.36-inches display of QVGA resolution with many attractive smartphone features. Its connectivity features are quite advanced as it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB and 3G HSDPA support. Its 3.5mm audio jack and loudspeakers ensures excellent sound quality and loud speakers. Music consumption on the phone will be enhanced by clever new gestures. For instance, you can spin the phone to jump to a random track. This feature works on a single spin or a movement of wrist whether it is changing of music tracks or sending of messages. There are music packages offered with phone in some markets.It's got quad-band GSM connectivity facilitates world-wide roaming.

Motorola Android powered handsets to get new maps

Motorola, Inc; an American telecommunications Multinational company which makes wireless phones has made available the new and upgraded version of maps of India free for Android powered handsets like Milestone 1&2, Milestone XT720 1&2 and Backflip 1&2 will get benefit from this offer and the user can be used this facility even without inserting the SIM card. These mobile handsets loaded with lifetime free access to fully voice guided street level navigable MapmyIndia maps of 620 cities and 576,000 towns and villages in India.





Faisal Siddiqui, country head, Motorola Mobility India told that the facility of new maps are more detailed and include information such as business districts, offices and market locations, he also added that the company believes to offers the latest technology to the Motorola customers.





The latest facility from Motorola offers voice guided navigation and routing in cities and major national and state highways. In order to use the service, Motorola users need to first launch 'India' map from Motorola's MotoNav application. The GPS Navigation service is free with no activation and data charges and is independent of mobile networks.
