Samsung mobiles are the emerging favorite Smartphone makers in India. This is clearly visible from their back to back releases of Smartphones in to the Indian market. This time the company is going to launch Samsung Galaxy S 4G. It was announced in January 2011 and expected to be released by the end of 1st quarter. The price of this handset is not yet announced.
The basic features included in this handset consist of messaging, browser, java support, GPS etc. This messaging option includes SMS, MMS, email etc. The SMS will be in threaded view, so that the messages from an individual will be displayed as a thread. The java is athird party application in this handset. It also has social networking integration. Another unique feature included is the Qik application for the video calls. The Samsung Galaxy S 4G also contains digital compass, image/ video editor, document viewer, Youtube application, google search, gtalk etc.

It supports formats like MP4/DivX/WMV/H.264/H.263/ MP3/WAV/eAAC+/AC3/FLAC etc. The internal memory of the handset is 1GB ROM and 512 MB RAM, which symbolizes that the operations, can be executed in lightning fast. Moreover, the memory can be expanded upto 32GB in which an 16GB micro SD memory card is included with the phone.
