I loved my ceramic sink…for about three days until I've dropped something on it, and it chipped. It was nothing spectacular and I could use it for many years, which unfortunately, I did. Moving into a new house and surrounding yourself with new stuff is pretty refreshing, but ruining them the next day can cause quite a bit of frustration. I thought about replacing it with a Porcelain Sink, which is more durable because it is fired at higher temperatures, but I didn't know exactly how expensive that would be and gave up.
It's been quite a while since the unfortunate accident, and many other incidents took place meanwhile, so my ceramic sink is now the focal point of attention, for all the wrong reasons. Since I am planning on changing the aspect of my bathroom completely, there is no doubt what I'll start with, the only question being where to start shopping for Porcelain Sinks. I draw much of my inspiration from the internet, and since I've bought stuff before from Mr. Direct, I'll choose them to replace my porcelain sink.
Replacing the cabinet is a must, because it is simply too small to accommodate the elegant porcelain sink, I've laid my eyes on, but this is excellent news. I didn't like it in the first place and since porcelain sinks require a special type of faucet and drain to function properly, this is the perfect moment to make the change. They have a wide selection of designs, so I'm setting my hopes high that this remodeling project will be a success.
