Nokia launches 5530 Xpress Music and 5230 touchscreen phones in India

Nokia is known to give tough competition to other mobile makers like Samsung,Sony Ericcson and LG and this time too,it is doing just that.




Nokia has now decided to capture the Indian market with its low priced touchscreen phone giving sleepless night to its contenders namely Samsung with its touchscreen phone Corby and LG Cookie.The Company,on 21st December, has launched Nokia Xpress Music 5530 priced at Rs 14,029 which shares similarity to Nokia 5800.It has also launched another model Nokia 5230 that is again low priced and possesses 3-G connectivity and a QWERTY style keypad which is quite surprising for a mobile in such a price range.

Other mobile makers provide the above two facilities of 3-G connectivity and a QWERTY style keyboard at a much higher price,one example of which is Samsung's Star 3G which is available for Rs. 11,500.

Acer Launch 3 New Mobiles in India

Acer NeoTouch S200, Acer betouch E101 and Acer E200 betouch.


Acer has launched its new NeoTouch S200 is finally in the market.Oval size touchscreen display that measures 3.8 inch's, coming along with native resolution of 480*480px and 65K color. It gives bright and crisps images but you need to hold in the sunlight. Main features of Acer Neo Touch S200 are 2G-GSM 850/900/1800/1900, 3G- HSDPA/850/1900/2100, micro SD card up 32GB. Primary features are 5MP, 2560*1920px, Auto focus, LED flash. The Acer neo touch S200 (known as the new Touch S200 in France and US) . Codenamed F1 when initially announced at Mc2009, this is the second WM smartphone on the market that feature 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.The Neo S200 runs Windows Mobile 6.5, enhanced with additional that provides access to popular social networks.


The Acer E101 betouch has a slim design being just over 12mm thick and support,Windows Mobile 6.5 and is powered by 528 MHz CPU. Its features are 3.2 inch WQVGA touch display, GPRS, 2 megapixel camera and HSDPA network. It has 3.2 inch touchscreen feature with 240*400px resolution with 65Kcolor, 2megapixel camera with digital zoom, internal memory of 512MB and expand via SD card slot.


Acer E200 betouch is designed to slide in somewhere towards the budge tend of the smart phone market. It measures 110*53.5*15.4mm and it is available in black and white color with attractive silver color band at the edge of the phone. It has 3.2 inch touch screen , GPRS, HSDPA,Assisted-GPRS, Mobile Internet fun, easy and perfect to use. This smart phone can be sure that you will finish battery that lasted up to 5 hours talk time and ended up with 400 hours in standby mode.

N97 Mini finally launched !

The wait is over.Nokia N97 has finally launched after months of anticipation.The dimensions of the mobile phone are apt.Though the dimensions of the phone are different on the paper,it fells a lot smaller in hand.The build is excellent and the slider mechanism works flawlessly.





Front view:

The menu key has been changed and looks similar to the keys in N86 with dotted pattern.However the call key and he end keys are just like any standard Nokia mobile.the keys are kept at a comfortable angle so that it is easy to use in both portrait and landscape mode.





Features:

The keys to Nokia 97 possess the same basic design and shape.The space key is on the right side which makes the beginner take some time to get used to.The plastic cover from the rear side is removed and replaced with small metal cover which not only saves millimetres of thickness but also adds solidity to the design.The camera does not have a lens cover which makes it prone to damage.


Software:

Nokia N97 runs on Symbian S 60 5th edition and possesses kinetic scrolling.Although Kinetic scrolling was available in mobile phones such as Nokia 5530 Xpress music,it works in the main menu with icon view in this phone. The interface speed is good and the phone,responsive.The n97 mini is priced at Rs. 30,000 which is a thousand bucks cheaper than N97 itself.
