LG Optimus 7Q, upcoming WP 7 smartphone with QWERTY keypad and toouchscreen

A new smartphone thar runs on Windows Phone 7 operating system has been announced by LG Electronics. Named as LG Optimus 7Q, it is a ultra-smart full QWERTY keypad handset that runs smooth and fast on 1 GHz processor. It belongs to Optimus series of LG and its close ally is another smartphone, LG Optimus 7. The handset is globally launched and gives its users to do things faster, smoother and effortlessly. Working on Optimus 7Q will be a joy in itself and will let users enjoy and explore an altogether new mobile life.

LG Optimus 7QLG Optimus 7 series phone has integrated unique features in it that are only available on the LG devices. These compelling applications are the DLNA-based "Play To", augmented reality (AR) applications and Voice-to-Text feature. These are available as "Live Tiles" on Windows Phone 7 and can be accessed via integrated “Hubs”. The entertainment features included in the phone have been devised keeping in mind the digital lifestyle of the people today. There is Microsoft’s popular Xbox LIVE(R) and Zune(R) services that let users play video games and download songs.

LG Optimus 7Q* Play To is a user-friendly technology that lets users share multimedia files with other digital devices from the picture, video or music Hubs. It also lets users display videos and photos captured on their LG Optimus 7Q on TV or enjoy music on their phones through their favorite speakers without wires.
* ScanSearch is an AR (Augmented Reality) application that connects users with a world of information and let them access real-time information about shopping, dining, weather, entertainment and banking, bringing together one’s online and offline worlds for a more enjoyable life.
* Voice-to-Text feature allows communication without the need for finger input. LG Optimus series owners will have the freedom to transcribe their voice into text for updating Facebook and Twitter or composing emails. In short, it enables hands-free communication.
* Microsoft’s popular Xbox LIVE(R) and Zune(R) services let consumers have direct access to their favorite games and music, bringing all entertainment devices together for more convenient enjoyment.

Besides that, Optimus 7Q has a 3.5-inches, 800 x 480 pixel resolution capacitive touchscreen display, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, and internal memory of 16GB. The handset also offers Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity. It supports quad-band (850/900/1800/1900) MHz networks as well as (850/1900/2100) 3G HSDPA/HSUPA networks. LG plans to release the Optimus 7Q in 35 countries by the end of November 2010.
