Nokia X2-01, upcoming smartphone with QWERTY keypad

This one seems like a mid-range entry level smartphone from Nokia. We are talking about Nokia X2-01 whose specs are doing rounds on Net. Nokia X2-01 is very much like Nokia C3-01 but is a poor successor of this phone which had superior features. This Nokia C3-01 look alike is a Nokia S40 phone and it sports a hardware QWERTY keyboard. Unlike Nokia C3, it is 2G handset and has normal 2.4" QVGA landscape display screen. It also features a microSD card slot, FM radio and Bluetooth which proves it to be decent on multimedia and connectivity front.

Nokia X2-01It probably also has a 2MP/3MP camera.Unfortunately, it lacks the Wi Fi module which is present in Nokia C3. Removal of some crucial and advanced features certainly makes it stand a bit low. Though the price details are not yet revealed for Nokia X2-01, we hope that price is reasonable and under 150$. Nokia X2-01 is a budget smartphone and people are eagerly waiting for the release of its official specifications. The key (rumoured) features of Nokia X2-01 are as entailed below. The display of Nokia X2-01 is sized at 2.4" and is QVGA TFT type and gives 320×240 pixels resolution. It boasts of a full QWERTY keypad and physically measures 119.4×59.8×14.3 mm. S40 based Nokia X2-01 weighs 114g and is available in Grey, Red, White and Purple colours.

Nokia X2-01It is supported on GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz network and has two dedicated music and messaging keys. There are built-in motion games plus JAVA is supported on the phone which also lets its users enjoy listening to music on its built-in FM-Radio. There is enough internal memory of 42 MB in the handset which is easily expandable via microSD slot. For connectivity, it also has a mciroUSB and is easily connected to peripheral devices with its use. Nokia will make QWERTY phones accessible for the masses with launch of smartphone like Nokia X2-01 which is a budget-friendly phone.
