Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc mobile launching in India

The worldwide leader in Smartphone technology, Sony Ericsson is now out with yet another one to their collection, called Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc. This smart phone launched at CES 2011, Consumer Electronics Show held at Las Vegas. The company is also planning to launch the device in India this year and it is priced at Rs. 13900/-.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is a phone loaded with Adreno 205 OS. So it has got very good performance too. It is a phone that is surprisingly loaded features. It has got a 4.2 inch display with a capacitive touch screen and the company says that it is based on a new technology called MobileBravia Engine technology. It runs on 1 GHz Qualcomm 1GHz MSM8255 processor. So it is specially designed to provide performance to the core. There is a provision of connecting the phone to an HD TV to watch media files in higher resolution via HDMI cable. The company also claims that it is compatible with the DLNA devices, those devices that are certified with the Digital Living Network Alliance. The design of the case is also an attractive feature of this phone. The back case of this phone has got a arch in the middle which adds more beauty apart from those seen in the other SE mobiles.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is equipped with very powerful camera with 8 mega pixel lens to make your every snap special. It is also having auto focus, red eye detection ON/OFF, flash. The video quality of the phone is also very good with its 720p. You can have a 512 MB of internal memory in built and can expend up to 32 GB through microSD card. The phone does not disappoint the needs of the music lovers also. It is having a 3.5 mm headset jack that is universal audio connector. There are many other features like Bluetooth, A-GPS etc. It supports USB 2.0. There were many rumors heard about the OS that got loaded in the phone, that it got loaded with Android 2.4 Gingerbread. But later it was known to as hoax.

This work horse has a user friendly UI too. The media scape UI has got replaced with new customizable pane widget. So as the media player too got some modifications with customizable equalizer. So the phone from Sony Ericson is giving the value for money except in one feature, which is it does not have a front camera. So it will not be having the feature for video call too. But the efficiency of the phone to do multi programming makes it a real value for money and a true work horse.
