Nexus One Smartphone - a super smartphone

This is HTC and Google joint venture and it has manifested as upcoming smartphone HTC Google Nexus one. This upcoming smartphone will soon be launched in India and will definitely put the smartphone market ablaze.

Google worked tightly with HTC to create this smart mobile phone and has transcended the usual bar in the smartphone section with its unveiling.

Whether you hoax the iPhone, Apple, Droid etc., it's hard to deny that they are tempting and sought for. HTC Google Nexus one is a good Android smartphone. Android 2.1 operating sysytem is not much different and of the notable changes, many are superficial.




The phone shape is trim and sleak, typical of HTC designs though colour choice is usual.

The body of the Nexus One mobile phone handset is comprised of a main, dark gray case wrapped by a lighter grey, smooth, almost metallic band. The device houses a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display and phiysically measures 11.5X 9.8X119mm. It is light as its curved edges and cuts make for a truly comfortable phone to hold. There are four "hardware" buttons on thr front. The look and feel of homescreen is superb too.

The 5MP camera lens and flash took sharp, quality images, lens moved fast and gallery is without any fault enabling user to see his/her picture collection in a neat way.

The phone also has 512MB of both RAM and ROM, contains a light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer,HSPA-capable GSM radio, WiFi, AGPS chip, and a microSD slot (loaded with a 4GB card and expandable to 32GB).

The handset will be a the benchmark-a superphone in the mobile world.

The New Motorola Droid

The new smartphone Motorola Droid recently released , is packed with high end features. To start with it has an amazingly impressive screen with a large display and a 5 MP camera. Structure of the new android phone is rigid but not thick. With masculine design, sharp cuts and angles, it is completely different from its other phones. Its QWERTY keyboard with slide mechanism opens and closes with a click.




The battery of the smartphone has a long life unlike other Android devices and its fast processing keeps the system at a secure run. Navigation on Google on Moto Droid is free and teriffic.

However the rigidly constructed hardware needs to improve the sound quality by bettering the video and music players. Moreover keeping the buttons touch sensitive was not such a great idea as hardware buttons respond better. The Search and the Menu button are repeated on the keyboard which was not required at all. Lower corners on the keyboard are kept blank which again looks very absurd.

HTC Magic or Fiesta

HTC have confirmed that they plan to launch at least three Android phones in 2009, with the launch of their second Android phone, the HTC Magic is scheduled first for launch. The HTC Fiesta will be available in Asia, Europe, and North America.




The Fiesta is another name for the HTC Magic. It’s already known under several operator-specific names, so one more wouldn’t surprise us. Second, the Fiesta is a device that wasn’t in the leaked roadmap, or maybe it was there, but under a different name… If that’s the case then we have no idea if it’s even supposed to come to the market during this year, since it might very well be scheduled for a 2010 launch for all we know.
